BEIJING'S CHINESE CHECKERS
D.O.B. 11-11-01
Sire: PPF Beijing Dam: PPF Cutie Patootie
Meagan's Best Friend and Winner in the Show Ring!

“CHECKERS” has genetics, genetics, genetics! He is a stunning evenly spotted Heavy Wool appaloosa with orange cheeks on both sides. He is very correct with straight legs, a straight top line and has wonderful banana ears and fabulous fiber. His ¾ Chilean sire is the well-known PPF Beijing, and ALSA Halter Champion who has earned his ROM in Halter. His paternal grandsire is PPF Prancero (1995 Celebrity World Champion). His full Chilean dam, Cutie Patootie, is a legendary DDL Dream Catcher daughter, who took Reserve Grand Champion Heavy Wool Female in her first show at Los Angeles County Fair. Looks like he is taking after his “Relatives”! At 5 months old in his very first show in Arizona, he took a second in his halter class. He won first in his halter class the very next time he was shown and got Reserve Grand Champion as well at the Antelope Valley Fair 2003. He loves doing Pet Therapy and being taken out in public to do educational programs, hike and be in parades. Meagan has trained him very well and shows him in Youth Showmanship, Youth Obstacle, Youth P.R. and Youth Pack Classes. He even likes to be dressed up in costumes! She has won many First Place Ribbons with him as well as Grand Champion Ribbons and High Point Youth Awards. Check out her Muses from Meagan page on our website! We are beginning to train him for Cart Driving. He will look smashing pulling our cart. Checkers has personality plus! He loves to go to Llama Play Days and “smooze” with everyone in between Obstacle courses. Keep your eyes on our web site for updates! He sired "GBL'S Miss Congeniality" born 11-14-06. Check out our sold section of our Llamas For Sale page to see "Missy"! We bred Checkers to Candy for November 2008 cria so check back in late November 2008 to see their new baby!

You can dress him up and take him anywhere!
"Captain Jack Sparrow" is his favorite!
P.S. Checkers and Meagan were in the January 1, 2007
118th Tournament of Roses Parade!
1st time ever for Llamas to be in this Historical Parade!

Checkers Sired:
GBL'S MISS CONGENIALITY
"Missy"
Born 11-14-06
Personality Plus! & Exquisite Fiber! "Missy" has beautiful curly silky black and dark brown fiber that spinners will fight to get their hands on. She has her dad's orangish spots on her cheeks. She's got it all, with great personalities from both her mom and her dad plus appaloosa in her genes from her mom and dad. What a sweet beautiful face. She even kissed the reporter when he came to write an article about our ranch this year! "Missy " comes from a long line of great producers, heavy milkers, with great mothering instincts. "Missy" has names like PPF Prancero and DDL Dreamcatcher in her background on her dad's side and Senor Bolivia on her mom's side. Because we had so many llamas related to each other, we sold Missy and her mom. They both now live together on a wonderful huge 1750 acre ranch in Southern California.

He has great Curly Silky Heavy Wool fiber that spins like a dream. Talk about “Bone”! He is a llama with substance. Arturo has a wonderful disposition and does well in Obstacle, Pack and P.R. "Arturo" and "Bopper" (father and son) were recently the hit of The 4th of July Lake Forest Parade! We gave Arturo a "nudie hair cut" this year and is he ever glad to get all that fiber off! 10 Pounds! No wonder he is dancing around! The boys were all decked out in their patriotic costumes with top hats and bow ties and lots of stars on their backsides!
